Planning for Career Change in Later Life and Retirement

Sarah McWatters
My main inspiration to coach people as they consider career change in later life and retirement, is you.
People in their 50’s, 60’s and beyond have thrown away their old ideas about retirement.
Many are living more youthfully and for longer, but adjustments to working lives can be complex.
As an accredited non-financial retirement transition coach,
I support clients with navigating the sometimes complicated decision to leave their careers and move into retirement.

Having worked as a careers and education consultant and coach, together with my training, my role has given me insight into how people of all ages make decisions about the direction they want to follow. Towards the end of a career, this could mean reducing hours prior to stopping work completely, using years of experience in a different capacity, obtaining new qualifications for a change of direction in later life, or planning ahead for full retirement. My training as a transition coach and further accreditation as a retirement coach gives me the skills to support adults as they move into this exciting phase of later life with all the adjustments that this may bring.
